There will be a ride on Saturday: Starting at the Calamvale Hotel at 9am and going to Kyogle for the Lions TT Motorcycle Festival event and returning to Boonah as per this map. Anyone that does not want to attend the ride then the meeting will commence at 6pm with our standard Monthly Agenda and we will finish the meeting by 7.30pm for dinner at 8pm. The meeting venue will be Simons Tavern in main street Boonah. Walking distance from the Boonah Motel (whose address is 1 Mount Carmel Road, Boonah). Breakfast on Sunday morning will be at the coffee shop just up the road from the Boonah Motel starting at 7am or later depending on your personal preference. There will be no formal ride on Sunday. |

A ride to the Vietnam Veterans and Veterans MC bunker at 132 Meakin Road Kingston, to have a look at Harry's Old Style Bikeshow that's being held there today. We'll ride there via Springfield.
There's quite a few events organised for the day - as well as the bike show, there's a tattoo show, art show, a pinup girl competition, hot food, vendors, and of course cold beer! Admission is $10.00. The ride will start at the usual West Ride Meeting Point: McDonalds Goodna (2 William Street (cnr Smith Street), Goodna) Be at the meeting point by 8:30am. The ride will depart at 9:00am sharp. |

29th annual Brisbane Street and Custom Bike Show at the Royal Mail Hotel in Goodna. All proceeds will support International Speedway star Darcy Ward in his recovery from a spinal injury. As well as the show, there will be top blues bands playing in the pub all afternoon and evening. This is NOT a formal Steel Horses ride; but some steel horses riders might go for a ride up there.

The Dungaree Re Enactment Ride A re-enactment run of the famous Dungarees Recruiting March from Warwick to Brisbane which occurred in late November 1915. Start gathering at Warwick Showgrounds (18 Kingsford St, Warwick) from noon on Saturday (camping, food, band etc), and then leaving Sunday 29th at 0830 sharp to ride from Warwick to Brisbane as part of the Centenary Of Anzac. $10 per bike includes camping under cover, showers and toilets. The ride route covers about 240km, and follows the same path as the original Dungarees Recruiting March. 4 Mayoral plaques will be presented/unveiled: the Mayor of Warwick will see us off, then unveiling a plaque at Forest Hill and Rosewood, then travelling to King George Square where the Brisbane Lord Mayor will be presented with the fourth plaque. Albert Street Brisbane is closed for dedicated bike parking near King George Square in Brisbane. This Dungaree Commemoration Run is hosted by the Military Brotherhood MMC. |
